Erwins Mühlenbier - A taste experience from the traditional art of brewing
The small, tranquil village of Birgel lies in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel. With the construction of the historic watermill, head miller Erwin has transformed this place into a real visitor magnet. In addition to four fully functional mills, romantic half-timbered suites, a registry office and many other attractions, head miller Erwin has also been running his own brewery and beer garden on the premises since this year. Here, head miller Erwin still brews his delicious mill beer as Helles and Weizen using traditional brewing methods and natural local ingredients. More information about the historic watermill.

Here you can enjoy the unique flair of our mill brewery in a rustic atmosphere. Lovingly decorated, with traditional elements and lots of charm, the brewery invites you to linger.
